Guide to Self-Reliance and Constructive Change- How Stress and Self-Esteem Affect Us

Stress and self-esteem affect every aspect of our lives.  Low self-esteem and high stress can negatively affect your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. Self-esteem and stress can work together to either make you feel better or worse depending upon which end of the spectrum they are on.

When you have a negative or low self-esteem, you may find yourself prone to depression, sleeplessness and high stress.  Depression can lead to tension in your relationships, poor performance at work and other defeating situations.  Lack of sleep not only perpetuates the cycle of depression and stress but also lowers your immunity to disease.  Maintain a healthy self-esteem is a key factor in keeping your self-positive and keeping stress at a manageable level.

In order to heighten your self-esteem you need to learn to focus on the thing you like about yourself. Think most often about the things that you do well and always give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done.  Keep negative self-talk at bay by replacing any negative thoughts toward yourself into positive thoughts.

Once you have achieved a healthy self-esteem you will be able better to handle stress.  Stress is something that comes to us on a daily basis. There is positive stress and negative stress constantly in your lives.  You need to be able to handle the negative stress in a healthy and productive way. One practice that can help you eliminate negative stress and increase self-esteem is meditation.  Meditation helps you to calm your mind, relax your body and allow yourself to escape the pressures of your day. There are many types of meditation and a little bit of research will allow you to find a meditation practice that suits you.

Another relaxation practice that requires no research is just to take 10 minutes out of your day, lie down on the floor or your bed, progressively tighten, and then release the major muscle groups of your body. Start with you feet and end with your head and neck.  As you tighten and relax you muscles breathe deeply and focus on positive thoughts and thing that bring you joy.  Doing this simple exercise once a day is enough to help you reduce stress significantly and help you shift into a more positive outlook.

The basic stretch exercises will relax the muscles and joints so they can contract and release easier. In fact, medically speaking, when you stretch often, relax the muscles and workout you can improve your chances of living longer dramatically. We encourage you to consider reading articles on guides to exercising for better health, or other related topics.

Finding Ways to Relax Stress in Propensity to Self-Subversion

Cultivating one’s individuality takes time. By taking steps to find what is causing you stress and how can you relieve it is the first action you want to consider. You must explore your being to connect the dots that make you a complete person.

Today, propensity to self-subversion is one of the top picks in self-development. Through these practices, one is encouraged to reform their thinking by examining self closely.

As stress builds up, it often makes it difficult for us to manage our lives, which encourages failure. Stress will drain positive energy from you, which is your source to survive. We need energy for everything we do even sleeping. Therefore, you may want to consider propensity to self-subversion practices to revitalize your life.

You can start by delving in to your inner feelings and thoughts to find areas of your life that has held you back from success. Sit down and try to focus on how you feel. Think of your failures as a source that could produce gain. Ask you a few questions to discover what it will take to cultivate a whole person. Cultivate you by focusing and thinking positive.

You can use meditation as a guide to focus and to relax.  Think of what disturbs you and try to find a resolve. Think of why you feel angry over nothing and what can be done to overcome it? Once you make your discoveries, write down what you learn. Take notes to help you readjust your attitude or the way you see things. Work toward letting go of any negative emotions or feelings that you may have.  Think positive so it will guide you to make good constructive decisions.

Create a list of discoveries and decisions to help you write your goals. Reread them whenever you start to feel or think negative. You need to take control of your stress so it does not control you.

Do not expect to see immediate results.  It takes time to make changes and reprogram you state of mind. Each goal you achieve, mark it off the list. When you reach each goal, it will give you energy and motivation for staying clean from stress. You will start to notice changes as you practice each day, working toward your goal to self-wellness.

Try meditating for cultivating your self-development skills to become clean of stress. Practicing meditation, you can learn new skills that can be used anywhere, anytime for relief. When you mediate, you put stress aside and focus on relaxing. By focusing on something, far off in the distance you will come back feeling like a new person.

Rediscover who you are by learning mediation skills and practice often. Take time out everyday for yourself to cultivate your self-development skills. Everyone needs some time out for them selves to relax and forget what is happening around them. You do not need a lot of time, 15 or 20 minutes will do each day.

Relaxation will give you new powers for success by helping you change your attitude to the better. When we practice walking away and come back the stress will be relieved and you will feel refreshed to handle any situation.

With meditation, you will notice that you wake up feeling fresh with lots of energy.  When we go to bed at night with stress on our mind, we tend to sleep but restlessly.  Change your sleeping habits by sleeping a deep restful night instead of tossing and turning.

With a good night of restful sleep, you will wake up feeling like you could handle anything.  Having a fresh rewarding feeling will help you make better constructive decisions that will be successful. Move toward self-reliance.
